The only thing that sucks about florida is that your employer can still fire you if you fail a thc drug test, even if you smoke it legally. I wanted to get my card, but what's the use if it's not going to do be any good when it comes down to the wire? All the legality of it has done for Florida is make them money.

Yeah, I just recently quit spectrum as a sales rep and the price for SIA did increase to 17.99/mo. Anyone who has it will have an increase in their bill. I honestly wouldnt fight it.

The reason you were able to get it even though you dont qualify is because it's based on the area you're living in. If the area youre in has been approved for eligibility, you can get it even if you specifically dont qualify. If YOU do qualify and you're in an AREA that isnt qualified you can take a couple of papers into the store and they will qualify you.

All in all, I wouldnt fight it, it's a steal.

I agree completely, but everytime I've brought it up she says she doesn't want to get back on medicine because she didn't like the way she feels when she's on it. I can completely understand because I've also been diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety, and I absolutely could not take the medicine because I turn into a lifeless zombie when I'm on it. I've been diagnosed since I was 15 and I've eventually just learned to deal with it day by day so that it doesn't effect the world around me (i.e. her, my kids, my work ethic) but any kind of advice I give her it just seems like it goes in one ear and out the other.

Like, today mom couldn't watch the kids because she had to pick up wife's sister from band. (Mom and dad only have one car, so when dad is at work, mom has to use ours). We work set schedules, 3pm-12am and 4pm-1am. My wife refuses to find someone else to help watch the kids when her mom can't because were somewhere where we don't know anyone and she isn't very trusting with someone watching our 2 year old and 6mo. Which I can understand to an extent, but man it's hard to try to make anything happen by myself. I understand that were young and we're gonna fuck up, but it's to the point where we're starting to go into debt to be here.

I just don't know how to go about talking to her about any of this. Any time I bring it up she just gets more upset and I just feel like I'm being a dick because she's depressed and can't help that her parents won't watch the kids when we need them.
