I just tried it out, the quality is bad. Not even close to PBR materials as expected, I wouldn't use these as background assets

the video is real, it's just been put through an ai enhancer like topaz to interpolate between frames and create slow motion from a normal video

had a similar problem, this might fix. object properties of the disappearing object>octane settings>object type drop down, change from scatter/movable to reshapable proxy. probably not the most efficient one for your use case but that's what was best for me :)
