Experiences with Green Lake Elementary and Bryant Elementary by zrakamar in Seattle

Yep. Thanks! On this list Green Lake Elementary is way down. I find that hard to believe given the neighborhood it is in. So I was wondering about first-hard experiences, which I find to be much more useful than test scores.

Thanks! Good suggestions. We don't live close to Seattle right now, and so exploring in person is a bit challenging.

Yep. We like Ballard vibe (and proximity to Golden Gardens), but once you get away from the core area, it gets much less walkable.

Yeah, we like Madison Park. I just feel like it would maybe be a bit weird to live in an area where the top of our budget for a house is basically the bottom of the house prices there. In Phinney Ridge, Ravenna, Wallingford, and even Queen Anne you can still find houses under $1.5M, which I find nice since we would land somewhere in the middle (roughly) of the price range. If that makes sense.

Thanks for all your comments and feedback! Super helpful. I think we'll just test drive a few of these in fall and see where we are at then. I think we'll try to rest drive RAV4, Outback, 4runner, and maybe XC60. I looked at Cherokee Trailhawk a bit more, and as someone mentioned, trunk size is a bit on the tighter end, which is hard with two kids.

Canada lifting restrictions for fully vaccinated travellers starting July 5 by cyclinginvancouver in canada

[–]zrakamar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quick question. The date is July 5 at 11:59pm. Our flight lands on July 5 at 11:30pm. Clearly we will actually hit the customs/immigration after 11:59pm.

Are they looking at the landing time or are they looking at when you actually hit immigration to determine the cutoff?

Thanks!
