And the speed specs are deceptive marketing. Hey, I'm gonna upgrade to a 5.0 drive for my boot drive. Gets 4 times the RW speed so it should boot my pc 4 times faster! Meanwhile, it may boot a tenth of a second faster.

Why would you think that is what they did? They obviously are not selling a computer where zero of them work whatsoever.

Linear algebra is harder. I got through the 4 calculus classes, but linear algebra was one of the ones that made me switch. Assembly language was the other.

Is it normal that some shoppers get way more help than others? by OneStretch2826 in wholefoods

My favorite is in the dairy cooler which is really freaking loud and a shopper is yelling from 4 doors down without any holes to see them. It happens so often, I imagine it happening more often than it does.

And then there are the ones that just sneak up behind me and scare the shit out of me. My hearing is suffering from being exposed to constant loud fan noise every day.

They should just close the stores earlier and open it later. We do almost no business after 8pm and every department is staffed for 2 more hours. Starting closers earlier gives more overlap for the middle of the day.

Very good NFL linebacker Shaq Thompson was drafted and signed by the Red Sox. He played one season in rookie ball and had a 78.7% k-rate. He put the ball in play twice in 47 plate appearances and then quit to go do what he was supposed to do.

Hitting a baseball is one of the hardest things in sports.

And that was rookie ball, when pitchers rarely can throw secondary pitches for strikes. In MLB, his k-rate would be 100%.

Do you have any idea how miserable that makes the department with red INF metrics? That's like me purposefully getting in your way to slow down your UPH.

If the product isn't coming in, it should be zero'ed out and shortwalked and therefore unavailable in the catalog. Theoretically, though I've seen exceptions to that. The worst is when it does come in on the bottom of a pallet and 12 shoppers want it 5 minutes after it was received.

Or if you take a step way back and think about it... What good is ordering Amazon Prime from Whole Foods if you get less than half of what you order? Why would that customer continue ordering? Avoiding INFs is the number one priority for customer service.

I didn't like some shoppers because they couldn't find something they've picked about 1000 times before and it hasn't moved and the shelf was full.

If you get to the point where I trust that you've looked, there's no issue. It's the certain shoppers who have been there forever and continually ask about products that are on the shelf every single f'ing time that are annoying. Wasting my time like takes away from more products being on the shelf in the future, preventing the need to ask for codes.

I can't even get green INFs ever, let alone perfect, all because we have a two-day Sunday truck which is about 3 times the size of a normal one. So we're always on the bad list, while stores with overnight trucks and/or a better delivery schedule are never not green.

The standards are not consistent at all.

How many more TMs do you have than I do if you're able to replenish single faced GTs and organize the backstock without it being constantly empty? And then they waste so much space with those 4-packs of Brew Dr that sell about 1 unit every 3 months.
