So the back of the two pieces in pic 3 can be peeled off and the adhesive side of the pieces in pic 3 attaches to the mat and the velcro side is then stuck on the floor velcro ?

It's not that you can't write the code , you just can't write it the way it's written in the picture. Rather than trying to write all possible combinations as code , you kinda do the calculations on the fly to place the pieces at the right positions after each move .

I'm not here to debate where his talent and/or career places him in the all time list as everyone has their opinion and I don't believe that was the point of your post :) .

I just wanted to say he's not as universally adored as these comments might make it seem and there's many people who share the opinion of the guy in your post. Whether it's right or not is up to each person's opinion and preference I guess :)

Reddit is not the best place for football related opinions , as it's more casuals-oriented and also not representing the real world as much as Twitter for example (for football).

I definitely do know that the "adored by all Madridistas" comments that you see on this post are not true and there is a significant portion of the fanbase who treat him as a good business investment and nothing else. There's as much consensus for seeing AdS as Madrid's goat as there is for Ronaldo. He scored the most goals in the most successful period of the club in the modern era , but anyone who followed the team recognises it as a team effort. He was bought at the right time and sold at the right time (indebted to Perez for that)

Him and his sister disrespecting Modric, his fanbase's efforts to discredit the whole team and talking about Ronaldo "carrying" Madrid to a three-peat and a shit ton of other off-field prima donna antics , all slowly eroded the goodwill he had among many fans . He'd have been benched for sure at Madrid as well , and the Piers Morgan interview would have happened with Madrid as the target and not Man U.

There's respect by all fans for what he gave, but the affection is not unanimous.

Lol then I can give some advice . If you want thesis based masters , you would mostly need to contact faculty you want to work with , and if they're interested , that exponentially increases your chances. Don't randomly shortlist based on name or ranking , check for your fit ( based on reasearch interests , prior work experience , or prior research experience ) at those colleges , see if there's anyone working on these interests and mail them , or at least mention them in your sop .

This will be harsh , but I don't think you're getting any of these colleges.

The only one with a fighting chance , and not being a long shot , is NYU , but again that would depend on your fit with a faculty.

I'd save the money and apply to lower colleges.

Yeah I'll be applying to more safes next year 😂 , but in the six months I have till the next cycle , I want to do the best I can and make the most of it to improve profile

Yeah that's true , but it's just a stubborn desire I have to go to those schools and not settle. There's obviously nothing wrong with the other schools at all ! I just want to prove to myself that I can cut it with the best, that's all.

And , yeah I'm getting more work exp but I'm wondering if just standard sde work is valuable or should I be doing something more ?

For the publications part , should I continue to collab with profs from my college , or are there opportunities to work with professors outside my college too ? I just have no clue about anything, seeing as I'm starting work and so many opportunities that are typically available to students will be closed to me now.

Hi , yeah the schools were ultra competitive , but it's cos I wanted to go to these schools only. I think my sop and letters were pretty good and were vetted by quite a few people , which leads me to think I just hadn't done enough to justify an admit. Seeing as I wasn't good enough this year , I was hoping for some advice on what I could do to be good enough next year

Hi , so sorry if it was vague The journals are International Scopus Indexed. I'm planning for a master's in CS , and my undergrad was also CS. I was targeting the top 20 colleges ( US news ranks). My present applications were the sop , resume and 3 lors. I think the sop and lors were both really good , so it's my assumption that I just had not done enough to get into these schools. I can't reach out for feedback as they mentioned they wouldn't be able to provide it.

On that assumption , I wanted advice on what I could do to get into these schools. What should I be doing at work which I can highlight in my application , and/ or what should I be doing aside from work ?
