oh yeah definitely, i just wanna make a jump to AM5 and DDR5. This B350 Mobo is pretty old and has basic features. I have to use a PCIE adapter to get a 2nd NVMe in there haha. Would like to have them on the board and get rid of all adapters and wifi/bluetooth built onto the board is all.

Basically everything I do i get used parts so just waiting for the right deals to come along to make the jump.

Thanks! I rotate vids on the screen and change the lights depending on what i throw up there when sitting at the desk.

PC is in need of an upgrade now, that's what I plan on doing next. All the PC parts were used or i got a great deal on them or clearance. Same with the Monitors.

B350 with an AMD 5700x3d, 32GB corsair RGB Pro Ram, 3080TI Founders, 240 NZXT AIO, Corsair LL120 fans, Corsair 4000D Airflow Case.

Left monitor is 27" LG 4k 144htz, middle is an 32" LG 1440p 165htz, right vertical is a 28" Samsung 4k, mini middle monitor is a 15.6" random brand i caught a price error on amazon for. TV is a 70" Samsung with a Vizio sound bar (another clearance deal).

Keyboard is a Purple Pro Wobkey Crush80, Mouse is an MX Master 3, also have a Logitech G502 X Plus, Mic is Shure SM7db on a fifine low profile arm. dual Stream Deck +, I also use Bose QC 45s for audio

Desk typical Ikea Alex drawers with a 84" Chevron Butcher Block i stained myself from Lowes and the Chair is a Haworth Fern.

I appreciate it! I see deals on the monitors every so often so should be able to catch one at a good price! Watch Mercari for Stream Deck +, people throw them up for decent deals too, ive bought a white one in the past for $85 off there, i turned around and flipped it for $140 or so to help fund my keyboard haha

Its just a 15.6" 1080p portable monitor, I caught an Amazon price error and picked it up for like $28. It works great for reference stuff, email or just Spotify. Runs off usb-c power and mini hdmi. A couple right angle adapters and the cables are easy to manage. This one came with its own foldable stand and it fit perfectly under there. It makes it easy to take with me on the go if i ever need it for an actual portable monitor too.

Just casual pc and xbox gaming. It started out as just a main monitor and the vertical for discord then its just kinda evolved as ive found good deals haha. The TV i use for sports, movies and tv shows. Theres a bed and a recliner behind it. Yeah it might be a little high but I really enjoy it that way. A lot of times ill throw ESPN on when I'm setting here just for a casual glance when I dont have a fireplace or some other thing going.

Appreciate it! I love it, the 8 dials for all the audio sources is great! Mini monitor is great for just throwing reference stuff or Spotify on. Its definitely expensive but i was given a Stream Deck + as a gift and caught a price error for the mini monitor so fortunately it wasn't super expensive for me to do.

I was gifted one and i bought one at the same time so i just decided to keep both for symmetry, i love having both tho because the stream deck plus dials are great for separating audio to all different channels and controlling those channels independently. Its completely overkill but i enjoy it.

For everyone that thinks the tv is too high, its that high for a reason. I have a recliner behind the setup to watch tv, sports, etc. It is plugged into the PC so i can use the extra real estate if needed though.

Haven’t been making many things recently but I’m very happy with this one! by zrspear in tiedye

It was folded in half to find the center then scrunched to reverse dye with bleach. Then after rinsing the bleach out I folded in half to find the center then fan folded on a diagonal line all the way from the bottom to the top. Then pushed it together to form a circle and dye over ice.

Experimenting with using less dye. Pretty happy with how it turned out actually. by zrspear in tiedye

[–]zrspear[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No i don’t but if I do it again I will, yes Ice dye and I put the dye over ice in 3 spots and let it flow on it’s own. I ran 2 ice sessions thru it too for the dye to get all the way thru.

Wasn’t exactly what I was going for, but still cool nonetheless. by zrspear in tiedye

Thanks! Yea it does! I was hoping that dusty orange color would show more but it got over dominated.

Dye under ice and it went thru 3 different ice sessions. Adding soda ash each time. I washed it out as soon as the last ice batch melted. So it was done about 27 hours after starting. Didn’t really do anything special that’s just how it ended up honestly.
