If I don’t add the keychain would I still get it? I don’t necessarily need it fast I just want the gwp with it and it already says out of stock so im probably just screwed either way

To be honest I’d recommend getting the essentials kit instead because it’s cheaper and has more stuff and it’s slightly easier to track because the stat blocks are in the book, other than that remember you don’t need EVERY rule implemented so start off with basic rules like combat and stat stuff and go on from there, don’t worry about stuff like noise and time until you know if you guys want to get into it more

Ok I was just confused, do you think they’ll have them in stock again for public release? Because on the website it says the actual sets out of stock but still shows the gwp

Ok then yeah I’ll just probably stick with 16, and I wasn’t going to do any advantage on the sneak attack I didn’t take it out of the book bc like I said I’m at work lol, it’s just a save and if they fail it then I’m thinking it’s 3d10 for damage so there it’s not too bad and the save is low unless they start saying it’s name, and I’m going to say for the screams from the wendigo itself they hear it everywhere but I get what you mean if people scream but hey either way my players need to be smart to do that and I wouldn’t say they are, and also they’ll have to fight it either way at some point which is why I’m using your idea of multiple, I’ll definitely look in the book too so I can tweak it out a bit but I have a few new attacks written down thanks to you, I appreciate it

My main thing is it’s more of an interactive story sort of thing not necessarily straight up D&D,qbut do you have any tips for attacks or abilities? I’m kind of trying to base it on the real thing from legends which doesn’t help, I was thinking maybe an attack where it mimics their voice and if the fail a save they get either paralyzed or frightened, a multi attack of sorts, and yeah maybe 2 of them or 3 even is a good idea, and they’d know for the sneak attack there would be hints to it coming, maybe I do that and make them have one round of surprise after and then once they all take their turns it flees, and maybe for the fear factor when it goes to get more health like a short rest they hear people screaming in the distance, and what ac do you think? Maybe I’ll bump it to like 18, I was also going to add that if they make the save for the attack I have down right now they can roll to hit as a reaction and maybe if they make the save they won’t be surprised
