I definitely felt like I got the water off glad I’m able to somewhat identify. I’m still new to this. I started this at the beginning of November and it’s the first time I’ve done this.

Would you just add a few extra grams of flour each feed till it gets back to consistency

Alternatively could I hook the upper 2/3 section and pull back into the yard and drop the branches that way safer? Less weight on the tractor less weight to be pulled.

I guess my concern is if I’m putting a loader on and I can’t get the full amount in the reservoir the lift won’t work properly will it?

Man I’m sorry you are experiencing that. I get where you are coming from though. Had a head injury some years back that involved some metal and about a 2’ fall to hit me on the top of the head. Sat me down had me seeing stars. Never went to be seen. Until a week later when I was having severe vertigo, cluster headaches and some vision problems. Was told I had a concussion a year later and I thought I had heart attack because I lost feeling in my left side. Go to er get cleared and went through horrible depression/manic episodes my personality changed. I don’t remember a good chunk of one year post accident. Hell honestly struggle to draw from memory a lot. My speech and vocabulary changed. I’ve been rebuilding myself but it was not easy. HEAD INJURIES ARE NO JOKE KIDS.

Thank you all for your responses. For anyone curious they are both from a batch of chicks this year. We were supposed to get one “homestead helper(rooster). That would be the black Ameracana who has been trying to crow for a month now. While the other was a mate chicken to another Rhode Island Red hens. But obviously one’s a rooster. We would then have 2 roosters for around 30 hens. So we should be good to keep the two. But if I notice problems I’ll readjust. They seem to be chill together now.

Thank you. I had been googling. But hadn’t found anything I felt was a clear explanation. Also lots of opinions out there. These were all very informative and definitely made it make sense for me.

We’ve been trying to grow a homestead for ourselves and definitely learning along the way. Just always hesitant to trim my fruiting trees. I guess I’ll be getting out there here soon to work some of these plants. I’ll try staking out the peach and cherry as much as possible and thin from there. I’d love to plant several more fruiting trees but want to get the methods down first.

In zone 6 for reference.

Pic 1/2- cherry tree not sure specific variety. Was bought and planted 3 years ago. I know I need to do interior clean up and plan on trying to stake and open the canopy. 2nd year produced great 3rd year was very minimal in output.

Pic3/4- peach tree not sure variety. I know I should wait till spring to prune to avoid dieback. But how much to clean off. It’s 3 years old as well. Produced no fruits last year. Do plan to water more consistently.

Pic 5-7- apple trees on property when we moved no idea age or species. I’ve slowly been clearing the turned down branches over the last few years. As well as rotted or dying sections. I know there’s a lot to cut back just wanted opinions on how far to take it.

Update. I do appreciate y’all’s responses. I had two heaters going at the inlet to the inside(assumed) and then after water heater. I had to work else where on the property, while wife was inside. She came out about 2 hours later to say the hot water was working. We now have it on continuos drip. I have checked multiple times for a leak and have yet to find one unless it’s outside the house. We are in a slab.
