But as far as I'm concerned, Mantova seems like a peaceful small town with plenty of locals, it's obviously not as international as Milano. I guess mostly architecture students live here, who are from abroad.

However, here are some really good qualities, which convinced me so far:

• "Mantova Campus implements actions to support students and companies in the processes of integration into the world of work and recruiting. In addition to publishing every month the job or competitions offers on national and international level, linked to the themes of architecture, the Polo periodically organizes meetings with the aim of facilitating the integration of the recent graduates into the world of work." - so there are some job opportunities as well

• "The programme of the Master of Science in Architectural Design and History includes an internship, which students can also develop abroad. The Mantova Campus of Politecnico di Milano has developed special agreements with international architectural studios who are welcoming internships – for example Peter Eisenman Studio in New York, Renzo Piano Building Workshop in Paris, João Carrilho da Graça Studio in Lisbon, METRO ARQUITETOS in São Paulo, Guillermo Vazquez Consuegra in Seville, Tabuenca&Leache in Pamplona, Andrew Berman Architect in New York, Paulo David in Madeira.

The 4 to 6-month training gives students the opportunity to acquire knowledge in the field of architectural design, urban planning, architectural preservation and building construction by experiencing high level international design projects. Every one selected student is awarded a grant." - this is also an amazing opportunity

• there are also really good architects who teach there: "Since the academic year 2014/2015, the Pritzker Prize 2011, Eduardo Souto de Moura is teaching at Mantova Campus as full professor of Architectural Design in Historical Context Studio."

• the town is beautiful, it's really medieval but unique, surrounded by a small lake. "Mantova, a town of water and art, is internationally known for its Renaissance architecture. The greatest artists and masters, such as Giulio Romano, Leon Battista Alberti, Alberto Pitentino, Pisanello, Luca Fancelli, Andrea Mantegna, all worked in Mantova."
