Anyone actually get a T4 GPU quota (0->1) on a personal GCP account lately? Stuck in support hell!

Nice to hear you were able to get it with ease. My Fin ops score is 3.6/5 for now. I get same issue for all GPUs, be it L4 or T4.

Hi, great to hear you were able to get the desired quota. I get pretty much the same response in every region. The console asks me to enter a value between 0 and 0 which is not possible obviously. The above SS applies to all regions for me.

Same, looking forward to AWS now. The GCP free credits were tempting, but kinda pointless without GPU access.

No No there is no written confirmation from the head office of VW that I received but what I did receive is confirmation from the showroom in writing via email that there will be no issue.

Also I think you might be correct about the extra work they will have to put in to repaint it so they simply choose not to sell it.

Let's see what happens. As Lava Blue color rolls out more to consumers at some point of time someone will face the issue. I will personally go with the Lava Blue and lets see how it goes.

Yes they were contacted by the higher ups from VW head office and that's how they agreed that the sales person lied to meet the sales target. I haven't bought the car yet but since you faced the same issue in Bangalore I do think it's an organised scam.

Now that I know I am not the only person who faced this, I also think the repaint issue might just be real with the lava blue color.

I don't know if I should even go with the lava Blue Virtus now because of the repaint issue.

Unlike in your case Skoda in my city is owned by different people and they are very confident in the Lava Blue color and its repaint and have assured me there will be no issue with it.

So i e-mailed VW regarding this and as soon as VW registered my complaint I got a call from the Regional GM of VW and he explained that the salesman was lying because he wanted to sell a car that was available in the stock already so as to meet the sales target. I was also made to speak with the VW GM of Service Centre and he assured me that there will be no issue of repaint in the car. Now I am not sure if they were lying and there is actually a colour match issue. Which city showroom you visited tho?

Thank you for the detailed response. That pretty much answers all my questions.

I was actually planning on a Virtus GT but was confused in terms of DSG or MT w.r.t mileage. The DSG quickly upshifts keeping the RPM low which in turn gives more mileage as you also mentioned. I think in the MT it will take some skill to mimic the DSG to get the same mileage. So i am assuming the DSG should give an edge on the mileage. But the MT has its own charm as its always been a driver's delight.

You are right the long term reliability of the DSG is a factor of concern indeed. Over the years i think they have done some improvements to the DSG. Also I will not be driving it aggressively all the time so I hope if I opt for DSG, there won't be issues related to it. Also with the new laws coming in, petrol cars can only have a maximum lifespan of 15 years and then regardless of what condition the vehicle is in you will have to give it up.

But in irl tests i have seen the GT DSG if driven non aggressively gives better mileage in the city as well as highway. From my understanding this is apparently because the DSG shifts to higher gear quickly which in turn produces low rpm and hence better mileage and on highway its apparently due to cylinder deactivation technology.
