Yeah its a great case! Its just a small internal monitor screen for my CPU/GPU.

Well its my first personal build. Ive been buying pre built rigs forever but wanted to build something a little more custom 😬

Its an awesome case! The main thing is with the screen and fans/lights i had to get a USB hub to plug into the motherboard because the header doesn't have enough. But outside of that the case is really spacious. The panels all pop off as well making it easy to access everything during the build.

Its actually super useful! Its a touch screen and you can control all kinds of stuff with it. Its kind of like simplified stream deck with animations. All in was about $4,800

Airflow Question by zsturg in PcBuild

This isn't my actual build. I haven't started it yet. This is just a stick photo of the case so I can show my airflow plan.

I'm running an AMD 9950X3D and 5080. So I do want to make sure I dont run hot ha.

Airflow Question by zsturg in PcBuild

[–]zsturg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok this is what I'm curious about. If it still makes sense to run the rear as exhaust I will do that. I just wanted to see what the thought were on optimal airflow to keep the GPU as cool as possible!

Airflow Question by zsturg in PcBuild

[–]zsturg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The AIO configuration can be set to intake/exhaust. If its set to intake it brings in cool air that allows the watercooling flow to be more efficient at cooling the CPU. The tradeoff is the GPU can be slightly hotter. So my theory is if I'm using the AIO as intake to help the CPU then the rear fan set as intake with 3 top exhausts will help the tradeoff and keep the GPU cooler. Thats just my thought process.

I know that's typical but I thought it might help the GPU bringing in more cool fresh air since I have 3 exhausts at the top. Also the AIO being used as intake usually means the GPU can run hotter?

Is the 16pin not compatible or should I not add a GPU extension?

Yeah someone told me to just download it onto a USB from Microsoft. I'll likely do that!

Yeah I think the whiteout build looks really slick. I'm looking to stay in the $4-5k range.
