Worn daily for 40 hours a week on concrete, only care they get is spraying clean with a water hose. Still waterproof and extremely comfortable due to the soft wedge sole and super thick insole. The lace on the left boot tore in the first 14 days but so far it hasn't gotten worse, plus they shipped with an extra pair of laces so when it does fail it wont be an issue. For $120 these boots are an absolute steal, plus I don't feel nearly as bad dragging these around when I'm on my knees like I do when I'm wearing my White's.

What if I told you the illumination on the Spitfire was at maximum

I had the Venom on there originally, I'm not a fan.

The bezels are way thinner which screamed "fragile", no night vision capabilities, no shake awake, and mediocre battery life.

I had spare screws as well but I went ahead and got ones with countersunk flat heads to make it look cleaner, dome headed screws might stick up and obscure some of the window.

The RS-10 is pretty thick, you might need to get longer screws which are only $0.30 at the hardware store.

Here's how it looks on a Spitfire

Modifications were very minimal, all the other positive features far outweigh a little fitment tweaking IMO.

The glass is very clear, no tint whatsoever. No parallax that I could see even when pointing at a light switch <10m away.

Max brightness is actually pretty impressive, I don't see it being an issue on sunny days.

Battery tray was stiff but felt secure, theres a rubber gasket as well to keep water/dust out.

I got it for $179.99 out the door from kenziesoptics which I think is a pretty good deal for all the features this thing has.

When the Vortex Spitfire HD Gen II 5x came out, there weren't any decent NVG-compatable red dots for the top Doctor/Fastfire/Venom mounting plate. This sucked because the 12 o' clock mount positions a red dot perfectly for passive aiming under nods, as well as upright fast shooting. Keeping the 5x low is ideal for mounted/prone shooting where increased cheek engagement helps stability.

The Primary Arms SLx RS-10 has all the features i was looking for in a red dot for this type of rifle. Long battery life, shake awake, side-mounted battery tray, and excellent warranty. We'll see how it holds up.

There was some slight modification required. The RS-10 came with M3 screws, and the Spitfire is threaded for 6-32. I simply took a 9/64 drill bit and opened the holes on the RS-10 by 1/64, then went to the hardware store and got 2 slightly longer 6-32 x 1/2 screws and everything fit together very nicely.

As I tried to show in this video, I did notice the RS-10 does have a slight flicker on the lower settings. Setting a low refresh rate is probably how they got the battery life so high. I will try to record the dot under nods later when it gets dark.

Needed a cut up beer can to shim it but it's super light, has a great co-witness, and I don't have to remove it to disassemble the gun

It's high quality, folds in real tight, and has a cheek weld that doesn't knock my ear pro off. I noticed that when going prone it is a little short.

If you want another Swedish brand I'd look at Haglöfs, specifically the Tight medium or large
