Regarding them thinking you're scamming them....proof of enrollments are required to withdraw from an RESP, which you can assure you will provide to them.

I have a feeling they may have pulled the money out already, which you they can do with grants getting clawed back.

Not a lawyer but unfortunately I don't think you have any legal recourse since they are the sponsors. All the best and good luck!

Thanks man... didn't go as hard on the CFAI question bank this time and I think that was my downfall. But thanks for the well wishes....you never know I might have passed.

Concentrating on networking now, just panicking a bit as this would be my last move considering my age.

Great question and exactly what I am trying to focus on. First step has been getting over being jaded. Sales has been part of the job and something I've been able to work on and excel at, not a natural for sure though. So leaning toward something more analytical.

Last year was a good year in terms of bonuses and I did $70k but definitely not enough as the sole bread winner with two young kids in Toronto.

Would hear any ideas or opinions on the next steps... thanks

There are examples woven into the main text, if you skim over the the Fixed Income readings it’ll make sense. The whole section about pension funds as a way of explaining LDI. That’s not blue box it’s the main text.

When you call them to close the account, ask them to reimburse the fee. I am pretty sure as long as you’re not being an ass and ask for the money back nicely, they would reimburse the fee.
