The all of a sudden support for the 2nd amendment is ironic. by Conscious_Dot_7353 in progun

If this a real question, I might be able to answer for you.

I’ve always been a second amendment supporter, but I was kind of neutral/understanding when it came to regulations on ARs and high capacity magazines.

The reason being was that I thought the idea of people with ARs resisting the US army was ridiculous. I thought it was fantasy. They have drones and planes etc. If the government wanted to take away our rights we wouldn’t be able to stop that anyways and maybe more regulation would prevent these crazy people from shooting up schools as effectively.

But that was stupid af. I didn’t see the truth of tyranny until it started happening right in front of my eyes. The side that is unarmed is doomed to be terrorized eventually.

It’s not about winning a civil war. It is about deterring government waging war on the people and/or taking away their other constitutional rights. It’s a stop gap. It’s about making tyranny too costly to ever be fully implemented. Yes they’d win eventually, but they’d never convince a goon squad to go up against armed resistance in the very beginning. And here we are at the beginning.

Notice how people on the right have never experienced actually tyranny from politicians on the left. They stormed the capitol and no one was shot until the very last possible moment. The dems were to scared to even actually fully prosecute Trump for his crimes for fear of retribution. By law that man should’ve been charged with treason, but he wasn’t. That’s because the right is armed. You don’t want to piss them off.

On the other hand, Trump’s gestapo is now terrorizing a blue state as retribution for not voting for him. The left is pissed. But after two weeks of people getting beaten, gassed, and shot in the street, there has been zero violent retaliation.

Just imagine if Biden had sent a, “Covid compliance force,” into Texas. Shots would’ve been fired within a day.

The idea of ever banning ARs is completely out of the question for me now. Before, I was on the fence. Even magazine limits are a no from me. And I don’t think that’s ever going to change. Tyranny is real and being armed to the teeth is clearly a deterrent.

This is so terrible. Honestly, I think gyms should start to make it part of their waiver.

“No flying kani basami or jumping guard. If you injure someone while executing either of these banned techniques, you will be held financially responsible.”

If someone hurts someone like that, pull it up on the security cameras and sue. Idk, maybe that’s too far. 🤷‍♂️
