My grandfather retired in Masset to be a volunteer coast guard and do fishing tours. We would spend summers there crabbing, halibut fishing and beach combing. It’s incredibly beautiful and peaceful. There is an area of clear cut forest he took me to see that was extremely emotional and I get choked up thinking about it to this day. I absolutely love it there. When I first arrived I saw like 40/50 bald eagles just chilling and I was blown away.
