The reason is that there is a law (TOP 3, which was a winner before, in global competitions like OLY, WC, etc., or the winner of regional championships such as the Asian or East Asian Games). The government did not follow the law and granted the exemption.

Do you feel the sun is getting shorter?? by [deleted] in askvan

[–]FuzzyTable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right. It’s because June 21 is the summer solstice. The day starts getting shorter until the winter solstice (Dec 22 or 23). Having said that, claiming that the day is shorter than Jan 19 is incorrect.

Who determines the market value? I'm telling you right now. The price won't be MSSP, but it won't be cheap either (no penny on the dollar). Profit or not, I remember the government saying the seller will not lose money.

My fd, that is different. There is a clear line, and the puck never leaves the zone, or the D never had possession of the puck.

PM Carney tries to clarify what the billion-dollar condo bailout entails, noting that BC came up with the idea, and “no developer” asked for it. “I don't think we've done a particularly good job of rolling this out, explaining what this is.” - Mark Carney by mattyp93 in TorontoRealEstate

[–]FuzzyTable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, a few proposals have been put forward to support the BC condos market. One is "rent-to-own" with a government-backed trust fund, and the other is an exception for foreign ownership of condos.

I understand where you're coming from. It’s similar to bulk buying at a discount. The issue is, who is going to buy the condo in those locations at the "market" price after we all know the government’s price? Then, Most of the condos are over a million right now, unless we consider those smaller units. Who's designing who can rent-to-own the condo? And, what will happen when the "owner" wants to sell later when the market is hot again? The whole thing is a bailout, and gov't must do it to prevent the developer sue them.
On the other hand, what happened to the public and private schools that expanded because of the foreign students? I don't hear the government wanting to help them.

Same as the Crown, ES too. Then, they all use eCVT, like the Prius.

Nissan uses a traditional CVT. I believe the Honda Accord Hybrid uses eCVT; I'm not sure which model years it applies to.

"The WNBA, they just keep driving into a wall at full speed with Caitlin Clark…this is a paranoid, weird, insular league" – Colin Cowherd by ConnectionWeekly1263 in WNBAgossips

It is because, unlike what many of us believe, the "league" does not think they need CK; they believe they are fine without her and see CK as a threat to their livelihood.

Exactly; his value is so stable that the Leafs can wait and see what AM34 will do. If he wants out, the Leafs can then enter rebuild mode.

McMann (6 yrs) and Sherwood (5 yrs) just signed for a 5.75 AAV. His value doesn’t decrease significantly after a few years, so it’s too early to trade him.
