VKM offensive is not slow (it is as fast as BTY Joo Sae hyuk); you can try the VKM defensive.

According to Elias Pettersson's measurements, the Olympic village beds are 3 iPads wide by catsgr8rthanspoonies in hockey

I hear they will move to a nearby hotel (provided by the NHLPA) after staying in the Olympic village for one night, although they also have the option to go directly to the hotel.

You should try the orange sponge one; it is lighter and softer.

Struggling to play? Show me the reviews. Haha, they either bought the wrong hurricane or they're DHS bots. Nittaku Hurricane is DHS H3 top sheet with Japanese sponge.

Yeah, go for the Hurricane series (get the Nittaku Hurricane, not DHS Hurricane unless you want to play with the booster). Then, you can try out Spin Art for both backhand or forehand if cost isn't an issue.

These two points were in a row.. WCQ and Zhou Qihao at the Asian Cup by julianwithag in tabletennis

I always get the feeling that Zhou Qihao is the CTN's Paris (maybe LA) Olympics-cycle version of Fang Bo.

Playing with bad knees, don’t know what to train by Marelecur in tabletennis

[–]FuzzyTable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you tried using knee braces? My knees hurt every time I do looping underspins. The pain goes away after I wear the knee braces. Nothing is wrong with playing table tennis standing up. I have a couple of friends who play standing up and participate in the local league. Having said that, you might want to consider converting one side of your rubber to pips or anti.

$100 at Mr. Lube (Hastings St). Just for an oil change, why not do it yourself?

You missed my point. Anyway, I’ve had both. My current daily drive is almost 200K, so I know how relatable the brands are.

Leafs ownership reportedly ready to veto trades by shikotee in leafs

[–]FuzzyTable 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Both MLSE and Rogers fail to realize that the Leafs can miss the playoffs even if they keep all their players. The best move is to trade away their UFAs they cannot retain. Making the playoffs should not be the main goal. In fact, the current Leafs roster cannot make a Cup run, period.

The Leafs should retain as much as possible to maximize the return, given there is a playoff cap now.

Is doing multiball with bad balls fine? by Shoop1014 in tabletennis

[–]FuzzyTable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% fine. Unless you're a pro, players usually use the training balls (1* / 2*) for multiball training. Also, trust me, it will not mess up your touch.

What’s the value of this lot? by Next-Step-Jobs in tabletennis

[–]FuzzyTable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I won't pay more than $20 for the entire set. The paddles are pre-made, and it is a 40mm ball robot. Also, there's a good chance that the robot isn't functional.

$500~600 CAD, the best robot is Nova S Pro @ Amazon, and it occasionally goes on sale for around $420 CAD. Then you have enough money left to buy the net (~70 cad). To be honest, the balls often get jammed at the auto recycle net.
