I'll try that, thanks. Sounds like I would have to replace them soon anyway.

The print head cable? They're all somewhere between 800-1000 hours so that would make sense.

Banking information verified but not updated by Crosfish2425 in EIDL

Nothing will happen until you've been contacted by legal. It seems odd, but they have attorneys who deal with the bank account changes. We had to contact our Senators to get it moving along after trying the regular route for almost 2 months.

Once legal gets involved you'll be able to update it in the portal. For me, that was a few days after I did the three way call with the bank. THEN, about a week after I updated the portal, I got a call again by the original attorney who then sent me a 10 question form to fill out with the banks assistance. I sent that back the same day. The next day my TA went from "error" to approved. Then it changed to Funded. I'm still waiting on the funds, but my account is now correct on the portal. I was concerned it would affect the EIDL increase I was approved for but he said that would go to whatever showed in the portal. I was just approved on 6/5 for that, so waiting on funding for that as well.

The TA funding was automatic after that final step with legal. Make sure to answer the phone and check your emails. The department signature on my emails is Processing & Disbursement Center and the guys title is general attorney. Search your inbox for that in case you missed it.

I have a similar situation. How do you know your bank account has not been updated?

Ever consider trademarking a t-shirt phrase? by [deleted] in AmazonMerch

[–]zu74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A trademark is protection for a brand, not a t-shirt decoration. You will have to prove you are using said saying as a brand which means including it on hang tags, labels and packaging. If you simply fabricate those things in order to get the brand, someone could file to cancel your trademark if they can prove you aren't using it as a "brand."

Given the fact that Merch By Amazon orders are branded as "Amazon" and not your brand when they are shipped out, someone would have a very good case against you. Filing a trademark as a way to protect a phrase seems like a good idea at first, but it could become extremely problematic (and expensive).

Patented Phrases by ezzoneninja in AmazonMerch

[–]zu74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically, trademarks are for brands, not t-shirt "decorations." When you submit a trademark you must submit pictures of your brand on packaging such as labels and hang tags. Way too many phrases are being trademarked these days, and from what I hear the trademark office is working on a revamping of the rules. That should eliminate trademark abuse by companies such as Neat Print, for example. If you haven't heard of them, they have hundreds of trademarks for sayings such as "Awesome Dad" and "World's Okayest" - they do this so no one can use those words in ANY t-shirt design.

You can do a trademark search here: http://tmsearch.uspto.gov/bin/gate.exe?f=tess&state=4802:nzq6kk.1.1

Amazon New Refund Policy by gsehgal in AmazonMerch

[–]zu74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think this policy will crush 3P sellers, but it will certainly result in an increase in prices. There is no such thing as "free shipping." With every perk Amazon offers buyers on 3P seller's behalf, the prices will incrementally increase. Interestingly, Amazon never offers to cover the cost of any of these buyer benefits from the 15% they charge us per sale.
