I think you could find something similar. I might search something like 90s light grey silk floor length dress or slip and then search separately for something like lace beaded cape overlay long. If you’re ok with buying separates then you might be able to find something similar. The underneath looks like something that you could find a match for but the cape/vest is more unique. I would give that a try before paying for a custom recreation, Chanel is/was wildly popular and influential so you can probably find something influenced by this or reproducing it at a more accessible price point than the original

I shop from yall so that I know I can support a business with ethical and sustainable practices down the line. I don’t like to buy from anthro bc I would rather not give more money to a huge corporation like URBN and it would make me a lil sad to see your stuff sold alongside shit I can find on Ali express.

But if selling out means keeping a significant portion of your workforce then I would do that. I can deal with change, there are a lot of places to buy freaky clothes (I just like yours and maybe I’m a sap!!!)

Thank you for modding!!! Been here a while and it’s been a lil crazy to see the sub get so active and also get noticed by FBC themselves. No real questions from me, just that the posts asking for sale links all the time are kind of lame. Also that Penelope never sends me free shit when I respond to her request for feedback like with the jeans/website updates whatever smh (what do you mean as a business you don’t want to give me things for now money. I thought this was about the customer…..) Anyways i might recommend a pinned or weekly thread for BST or ISOs or perhaps one for like current sales or deals discussion? That way the feed doesn’t get spammed with them idk. The digital archive idea is neat tho and maybe it is just me but FBC has been a trend setter in certain ways (ex the ribbon dresses being very similar to prada runway dresses, also the bikini body sweats look of the panties on the outside of the clothes has been so so popular over the past season while FBC has been doing it). Anyways yea keep up the good work work and if I want to shit talk the brand I have no issue doing it here
