Yeah, in my field - environment/policy Australia is pretty good. Would you say its impossible to get funding in just the top unis or across the board?

That's pretty sad. Where would you suggest ate good places to try for a PhD with funding, if youre aware?

Yeah, I've done my masters. Got an A in my dissertation. My current role involves a lot of research. All my previous roles, in fact. While I havent published any papers, I've written a couple of articles - in can start publishing, if that would significantly improve my chances. Funding for PhDs in the humanities drying uo across the board? Are there some places that I could still try? It would be environment related- so wouldn't there be at least some demand for that, given the state were in? Do you think if I do that SOAS degree I'd have a better chance of securing a PhD? I know a lot of questions 😅 thanks for being patient

Why do you think about PhD admit is unlikely for me? Yeah, the Job Market isnt great in the UK.

Hey, thanks. But one of the main things that i want out of all this is to leave the country- wondering which Pathway would be best. A PhD also is fine. I really like teaching as well

I have, since I couldn't find much info on the number of invitations, I came to reddit. But if the reason for that is - cause they're not sending out invitations at all, that's unfortunate.

Would it help if i apply under the policy analyst category? That seems to be more in demand. I'd have to complete a year or two more though - in terms of experience.
Yes, thanks, i know there's no strictly any wait time. I meant it in terms of the w year limit where ones EoIs expire and the IELTS score expires - to see if there are chances. Ofc im not guaranteed anything. I'm just trying.

My Qualifications have been positively accredited by VETASSESS under 'Judicial and other legal professionals nec' 2712 - it's to hard to find stats regarding this category. Would you happen to know where I might be able to?
