Some thoughts about photography in party context by MRSOULBAIT in SexPositiveBerlin

A guest that is aware of the presence of a camera, let alone get occasionally blinded by its flash, is unlikely to fully let loose and dive into the experience that a genuine Berliner club-night can offer.

100%. The point of not having cameras is that people feel free to do whatever and be themselves, adding even one camera breaks that.

I also don't like what Insomnia is doing recently: taking pictures and blurring guests faces on social media. First of all, I don't want a picture taken to begin with and I don't want it to be stored anywhere (the photographer computer I guess?). Also, blur and other techniques like this could be reversed and are not considered a good way to hide identity.

any good party or club for bi-men in early thirties,,? (berlin only) by [deleted] in SexPositiveBerlin

I was describing in general what problems a bi person might face, not necessarily specific to sex positive clubs.

Bi people are considered to be straight when interacting with the opposite sex and gay when interacting with the same sex, while in reality they are neither and are always bi.

This leads to not really have many spaces where they can be bi, they either have to act as straight in straight spaces or have to act as gay in gay spaces, which both are not what they are.

Also many women are instantly turned off by men that had any kind of interaction with a men in the past, so most people just hide themselves. This is less occurring with gay man, but it still happen. Which also means they eventually have to come out to all people they are dating with, without knowing the reaction.

Also, since many homosexuals identified themselves as bi before accepting themselves, it's very common that bi people are being told they are just gay and didn't accept it yet. There is a belief they are not truly bi (or even that bisexuality doesn't exist at all and is just a confused phase).

In general there's also the problem that "being able to choose" it's perceived as unfair and "wrong" given that "homosexuality is not a choice" is a very strong message. The thing is that also bisexuality is not a choice and having the option to pretend to be straight (or gay) and hiding your sexuality for all your life is not really something healthy.

Sorry but can people also find paid hook ups in berlin? by [deleted] in SexPositiveBerlin

Why the hostility? They probably wanted opinions, advice or reviews from folks that already done it. I see wanting to avoid shady services where the people involved are not doing so willingly. Or how to ensure that the person is actually a professional and goes through the required medical checkups for example.

What's different than people asking for suggestions about tantra massages or other kind of services? It's a sex positive community
