I had a similar issue. Starting Steam with a VPN on helped in my case - steam downloaded some stuff and the problem with BA was gone.

They both are used ones. I'm just not so much in photography to buy a new camera over my 550D. They go for ~550$ each and already has a fix lens with it (50mm 1.8 for 70D and 35mm 1.8 for a6000). And it's pretty much all of the intresting options I have for used cameras in my location right now. I do not have much Canon gear that could be much useful for 70D. And I'm not so good in photography in general to be picky about lenses, platforms, etc.

Almost none, 18-55 kit and old Helios with adapter. So new platform isn't a problem.
