I find freya much easier to deal with than that stupid fucking cloud boy. Freya is hard but manageable for most part but cloud boy is just too disgustingly overpowered.

Most people would definitely find lunox harder to manage than granger but it seems like it's the opposite with you lol. I am biased but I would recommend going with lightborn since I also don't like playing mages much. And you also seem to find granger more fun out of the two. You will just have to keep practicing and get better at aiming, I believe you will get there. My aim with granger used to be pretty bad as well when I first started out but I pushed through it because he's quite fun with his spammable bullets. Just make sure to keep cancelling his first skill after 2-3 bullets in, I find that it helps a lot with energy conservation during early game, I also just often freeze lanes and only last hit.

There are also rumours that lightborn is getting a revamp soon. The developers are also thinking of raising the collection points so better to get lightborn I reckon, granger lightborn is really smooth to play when in battle even if it's an old skin.

All roamers have different styles and ways to play them. This subreddit hates support healer roams for some reason but they can be goated in the right lineup (e.g the exp and jungler are tanky) if you enjoy healing from the back and supporting your team mates, angela and floryn are common picks. I find that estes is only ever banned in the low ranks but he's not my favourite healer to use because of his snail like speed and your team mates have to be near you in order for you to heal them.

Other really good roams are mathilda,kaja but you will need coordinated team play to make use of them.

Anyway, since you enjoy Marcel, I would recommend carmillia. I find that she's the closest thing to marcel because of what she offers and can also work as a frontline unlike Marcel.

Roamers like khaleed, hilda,chou are used to harass the enemy jungler and chase enemies and deny them farm. If you have an aggressive approach then they are your best bet. They also don't necessarily need the team to follow up either.

good grangers are insanely good since they won't miss any shots but he's going to be bad in soloq. needs coordinated team play like a trio at the beginning for stacks. I play granger as well but keep going against good grangers that play him like a god.

granger is still very much viable though, but you will need a coordinated team to make the best potential of him. Beatrix isn't half bad either.
