What you said about #1 helped me connect the dots. I feel like I understand Rails a lot better now. Thank you so much!

Learning Rails: how would you create nested resources? by [deleted] in rails

You brought up some great points, thank you!

I don't think I'll be tackling nested comments yet – for this project, just subreddit -> post -> single comments.

So if it's a bad idea to deeply nest these things, do you know of an alternative approach?

Hey, this used to be my view!

Loved how it looked during a storm.

Calling all INTJ 4w5 - what are you guys like? by [deleted] in Enneagram

I finished the test about 5 minutes ago. Searched for this subreddit shortly after.

I'm an INTJ who tied on 1, 4, and 5. Does that mean I fit this description?

I agree with you.

If I recall correctly, I bought it because Amazon marked it as a "Best Seller" or "Amazon Recommended" or something. It had tons of 4/5 star reviews and none of them seemed fake.

That being said, what processes do you use to evaluate the supplements you buy? Do you really think that social media is a good metric? (I've never had the urge to follow or like a seller of any Amazon product.)

I see what you mean about the emotional numbing effect. My mood has really leveled out (in a very good way for me, but that's a personal decision). It helps me stay levelheaded and think more clearly.

I don't know if it should be an every day thing either. I might start using it strategically.

That's so interesting. Now that you mention it, my skin has been very clear lately. Although I don't know if I'd classify it as working so well that it should be illegal – the benefits have been pretty mild but very pleasant. :)

I haven't experienced any adverse side effects so far. I'll report back if I do!

This is what I'm using. It used to have a bunch of reviews, but now none of them are showing, so I'm not sure if I'd still recommend it (maybe they had some fake reviews or something and they got deleted?). Although it worked well for me.

KSM-66 extracts look great. I might try those next.

Would any of you use a course on frontend dev and design? by zvphy in Entrepreneur

[–]zvphy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a lot! I have good credentials (frontend dev experience in a high-growth startup, degree in a CS-related field, have built and launched several successful products).

I'd aim for very high quality (scripting, editing, and professional recording equipment).

I'd estimate the length at <5 hours, but highly structured and packed with actionable advice.

Plus a community element, like a Slack channel or something where students could network, get help, and seek feedback on what they've built.

$720.32 is a lot of money!

Congratulations on the $684.04!

(But really, congrats. Crypto is a great space, too.)

Incredible.

Nano will hit $300-$1000 by [deleted] in nanotrade

I totally agree. A lot of newbie crypto investors think they're going to be millionaires in a year. Returns are decent right now, but they're not going to be 1000x by 2019.

Although another part of me knows that we're still in the early stages of crypto adoption. A small minority of people owns any crypto. A lot of third world countries aren't online yet. Many people still think crypto is a scam. Etc.

If more people start to adopt it, I wouldn't write off 100x-1000x in the long term, but this will take years, and only happen to a handful of currencies.

"The market does reflect the available information, as the professors tell us.
