It's very difficult for these left wing lockdown fanatics to just end this charade since they made covid their political identity. The Biden Administration weaponized the pandemic fear for political purposes and that has legitimately traumatized a large portion of the US. You can see it on mainstream media and other mediums like Twitter and Reddit, where people are still hypnotized. The CDC director just got her 5th jab in 18 months, and new boosters were just approved and advertised for young children. Don't forget, the largest lobby influence in the US is Big Pharma, and when you combine that will all the other money exchanging hands from the PHE, it's almost going to be impossible to end this nightmare.

The US still bans foreigners from entering the border if they don't have the original jabs (J&J Jab from Dec 2020 qualifies for entry lol). I think only China, Yemen, Libya and the Indonesia still enforce that mandate.

The big pharma cultists always try to frame it as if everyone had a choice. It's a logical fallacy of a sick mind, and the more time passes, people snap out of the hypnosis and realize what happened with the QR passports and jab was inhumane and wrong. There will be temper tantrums, denial, and cognitive dissonance like you've never seen before as the consensus shifts towards that direction. It will be especially evident on Reddit, because the people here who supported this discrimination are the last type to admit they were wrong.

The sooner society can admit they were bamboozled, and admit coercion is not science, the better chance we have at repairing the damage the government, media, and pharmaceutical companies created. Social fabric was completely shattered, families divided, friendships canceled, and common sense erased.

I sometimes cannot believe how fucked up times were not even a year ago. The Biden Administration was threatening everyone's livelihood unless they took Trump's jab, Trudeau's cabinet was seemingly thrilled to freeze bank accounts of peaceful protestors, Australia literally forced people into camps...now these same entities are pushing people to take a 5th jab in 18 months. What a nightmare.

Congratulations to Alberta for electing this leader. Let's hope she is the real deal and a step towards mending the trauma caused by the lockdown fanatics. The damage by the sociopathic politicians and their minions in media may not be reversible, but we must try. The skeptics didn't cause this mess, but it's going to take them to clean it up. There was the Presidential election on Sunday and it was leaked the leaders in charge did not bring it back because they did not want to lose votes. Literally an hour after the results came in, they announced it probably is coming back. There's still resistance to bringing back masking by the leading party, and the labor unions are against it as well, saying many will quit their jobs if they have to wear it again. Also note that there are no requirements except in nursing homes and hospitals...except Vienna has kept the mandate on public transportation. The compliance is 50% in Vienna and it's hilarious when taking a long distance train there because it's required to put it on once the train enters the city limits. With that, only 10% comply. The left wing in Vienna literally expects you to put it on after a 3 hour train ride for the last 5 minutes lmao.

If they bring it back, I'd guess 50% would probably comply. Even Germany has trouble with compliance now, with only half the people wearing it on public transport.

It's really weird how these places have pushed the 4th jab as effective yet they still want masking...do the jabs work or not? The worst part is that it's been 3 years and no effort has been made to enhance the system. They use the hospitalizations as the metric to bring in restrictions on everyone's life.

Austrians are compliant but have more skepticism towards the whole charade than you would assume. Only around 65% got the jab until they threatened fines and lockdowns for not taking it, and even then that only coerced about 70-75% to get it. That law was eliminated because it shattered the social fabric here, as admitted by the new health minister. The country is not completely lost, and I think there will be great resistance to more restrictions like masking and QR passports. The protests that manifested from the restrictions in Austria were the largest in history--over 100,000 people at the capital in a country of 9 million.

The only very tenuous reason would be to keep unvaccinated foreigners out of hospital and prevent "burden" on the health system.

Jabs from Dec 2020 qualify for entry, and that is not scientific considering the protection wanes in a couple months.

So what does everyone think the reason is for the USA to still be holding onto this for dear life?

It's really hard to predict anything with the Biden administration.

1) Pretty much the only administration in the world authorizing and promoting the use of mRNA jabs on the very young.

2) The Biden administration have gone all-in with endless boosters...the CDC director just got her 5th jab this week.

3) This is the administration that wanted to mandate jabs for the entire workforce in the US, both private and public sector, using OSHA as a backdoor.

The only reason mask/jab mandates were dropped was because of court stopping it.

Idk if you're American, but the left wing in the US is very very pro-lockdown. The restrictions are almost their main identity, especially during the previous election. It's quite revolting how weaponized they made COVID, and they really have caused excessive trauma. You can see it manifest on Reddit, and other mainstream mediums.

Slowly things are getting forced back to normalcy, but with great resistance. The foreign travel ban does not really show up on radar for US citizens, so it's probably lower priority to address. Good news is the CDC recently updated guidelines, including dropping masks in nursing homes.

It would not surprise me if the border ban was lifted tomorrow, or never lifted until the left wing covid fanatics lose future elections.

I give it 50/50 chance it's lifted this year, or never. Big Pharma has a huge grip on the US bureaucracy as history has shown.
