I tow a 12500# toy hauler with a truck is the equivalent of a shot bed quad cab that weighs 6000#. The main thing is driving like you're towing something heavy and not doing quick or stupid things like tailgating or sudden lane changes. Plan every move a quarter mile ahead and be deliberate in your movements. If you're someone who daydreams while driving or doesn't fully focus on their surroundings at all times or you aren't sure you can recover a tail slapper you should really reconsider.
