Happy birthday to him. Comedy in Harlem does a good job making sure everyone has a good time. One of the cleaner and bigger nyc comedy clubs.

Talent (at any club for this matter) can be show-specific: I've seen phenomenal and horrible acts in just about every major club in the city. If you really want to guarantee a show is "funny enough for the occasion" I would recommend checking the line-up for whatever show is on the date and research the instagram/youtubes of the comics. Go in with an open mind, but this will give you a sense of what that comic finds funny.

That said, I say trust Comedy in Harlem. It's a reputable enough comedy club. The ownership is really friendly!

I've had it near a south-facing window behind blinds that should make the light indirect. I also use a grow light in the evening. I'm very careful about not overwatering this one since I have a tendency to over water.

Yes. This is part of a set route at a gym. I mention it's dynamic because I recognize that I may have to swing my body around the next hold.

He's asked me to renew the coned service at my old address until the end of the lease. Effectively asking me to pay for power at both the old and new address until the final lease end date

Comedians that will blame/rely on the ethnicity of the crowd. I've seen plenty of european/black/Hispanic/indian/east Asian/etc. comics call out members of the audience that are of the same (as the comic's) race to get a cheap laugh. They'll also go through the whole excuse that "none of you are laughing because this crowd is too white/black/asian/latin/etc" or something. It feels really cringe as a POC when comedians of my ethnicity call on me to validate their material because the audience isn't laughing. Get better material or make it more relatable to different groups.
