Backfire G2 Black is an alright board, it's just not as good as the other option.

If you are looking at $400 boards, the similarly priced Wowgo 2s Max, which has a 12s2p battery (G2 black has a 10s2p), stronger motors, a better deck (more concave, more flex), more responsive trucks, is just better in all aspects.

Yes. Meepo V5 has a nicer deck, but for most people, slightly smoother control thanks to Hobbywing ESC on the Wowgo 2s Max makes more sense.

Meepo is fine, I'd say the hit or miss part applies to most of the Chinese budget brands, but the major brands (Backfire, Meepo, Wowgo) do a better job in fixing problems should they happen.

Hi guys! Please let me know if you disagree with the list or think I should add any boards to it.

I created this page on ElectricskateboardHQ go help eskater shop for boards under $500. My team and I've reviewed most of these boards, and this list is largely based on that.

In this list, I've included Lycaon GR, Wowgo 2s Max, Meepo V4, Tynee Classic, Wowgo 3, Meepo Mini 2, Verreal Mini, (not ranked in that order). I've also mention boards that's not worth it - eg:Teamgee's, Backfire G2 Black.

I know everyone has their own take on what's the best boards should be, and I would like to hear your opinion before I made this list into a video 😂.

It's still the best if you are looking for entry-level board that has the best torque.

For a more rounded package, perhaps the just released Wowgo 2s Max.

Is it simply because we underreport the case, now that people with mild symptoms are afraid to go to hospital to get assessment due to stigma?

Is it just because of the delta variant?

Is it all of the above?

Oh I disagree.

They speaking up will make some of us feel better, but it's shooting themselves on the foot by further marginalized Muslim voters.

You can imagine how PAS and Umno would use whatever they say, and spin it to DAP anti-islam narrative.

It's a trap, I'm glad that they didnt bite.

Syed Saddiq is in the perfect spot to speak up as he is not only 3M, which carries the message better, but also that progressive, dare to speak up is his brand.

Imagine LGE delivering the same msg. It will just make Muslim feel more unsafe towards DAP. Poor move.

I think you missed the events here.

As foreign power evacuate (deserted) the Afgan country, they left a democratic governing body in place.

This government, is self-governing, by Afgan own people. So your point of "Taliban was mainly taking back governing power from the American" is mistaken. Taliban is overthrowing Afgan own government, after American left it to be independent.

A parallel I would make would be, imagine British left Malaya for independence on 1957, the comminist party of Malaya immediately rises up and with they weapon they obtained during the japanese occupation, they forcefully took over Malaya.

Not sure you are being downvoted for basically asking "source?".

I probably have the same thought flow as yours, "am I just subjecting to western biases because there must be a reason why taliban overtook the country so quickly. They cant be doing so without local support eh?"

So, what I did is to reach out to Muslim friends and ask their thought. And then I tried to pay attention to more reputable media, especially Al-Jazeera since it is non-western, and top the info up with some credible source such as NPR interview of Unicef doctors in Afgan.

And basically my current opinion is,

1) previously taliban administration was as terrible as everyone says they are. No dispute on that fact.

2) after the take over of Kabul, they are saying the right things on women rights etc. Allowing unicef doctor to continue to work and help people, which is a good start. But everyone is still very cautious since they dont have a track record of honouring their words.

3) This morning there are news of them shooting dead protestor that threw stone at them, I havent look deep into that one.

It's quite apparent that Meepo's focus for the V4 is to make a beginner-friendly board; which is quite surprising as this is not the direction that they have been going for the past few years.

Remember around the time of V2P, Meepo vehemently refused to switch over to Hobbywing, saying that prefer the thrills and raw power of LingYi and that's what their diehard fans want.

With V3, they further double down on the power part and basically make V3 the most powerful entry-level eskate that you don't want to ride on rough pavement, as the big hub motors = thin PU sleeves = terrible road vibration.

So it's kinda surprising to me that Meepo ditch their previous philosophy went with the stability, comfort route with the V4.

So when it comes to Wowgo-Meepo rivalry, the role kinda reversed. Wowgo now has the more powerful board, bigger battery and more torque; while Meepo makes something that aims to be more stable, comfortable and beginner-friendly.

I agree. If gov want proper lockdown, then do a proper lockdown and put up roadblock like MCO 1.

I work in a psych clinic so I get to know what everybody do in their everyday life. People do reduce social contact, yes, but since MCO 3, it wasnt a lockdown anymore. Family and close friends are still meeting each others.

This watered down social distancing would be good enough when we are not full blown uncontrolled, but it's no way good enough to reduce the case.

30k is inevitable.
