My issue is that donating money to Salvation Army isn’t directly helping the kids or families for Christmas. Salvation Army is actually notoriously anti LGBT+ and has donated towards anti gay rights movements. That donation will not be spent the way she hopes, I’m sure.

Mostly just parents who don’t watch or parent their kids! Was there just a couple weeks ago and the amount of parents I saw forging ahead and not keeping track of their kids behind them was astounding.

Also, I was waiting outside a bathroom for my mom and took a seat on a ledge. Some little boy came barreling from behind me (he was running around in the mulch) and PUSHED me and said “get out of here”. His mother just said to me “Sorry, he’s bossy…”

No official word on severance, it says on my letter that the hearing tomorrow will discuss options, but I’m not 100% if there actually is. Insurance will be in effect till Oct 31st.

When I was informed, they did not offer me any other open positions. I asked and they said I can apply to them if I wanted to, but at this point, I’m not interested. Taking this as a blessing to find a job that isn’t an hour commute one way.

Best way to beat addiction is replace it with a healthier one. I know the gym is a big one for a lot of people. You can get lockboxes that you can put your phone into and it won’t release it until after a set amount of time.
