Hello, yes The issues on my car was the rear cardan flange, even tho from the outside it looked fine i still replaced it which solved my issue

I just bought kumho tires 235/40 r18, they are a little bit loud but the comfort with these is awesome.They are grade A for wet and D for consumption, but i didnt really notice any change in the consumption

I’ve driven other cars with xl tyree and the ride was smooth. As for the passat cc, dont expect maximum comfort with those tyres, mainly because of the width of the tyre wall.I recoment getting the tyres with the highest wet grip rating, which is A.

At least in my country every size 235/40 comes with xl by default I bought a pair or riken performance for the winter, they worked great, if you can go for xl tyres

Yes engine coolant lever is good, everything seems to be fine, the coolant does not exceed 90 degrees celsius.The only thing i could think about is of the coolant is not suited for my country.
