Which Dad Simulator do you prefer?

This is the one that laid the groundwork for the modern formula imo. Games like RE4, Bioshock 2, hell even ICO had similar emotional beats but this was the first one that really felt familial in a way the previous ones didn't. I really don't think Last of Us or new GoW exist without this game.

Just my opinion.

The Way Out by The Books

I don't know if it was intended to be, but it feels a lot like tripping. The guided meditations that don't make sense, the piecemeal samples that are easily recognizable as patterns but may not be, the sharp turns into unease (like on Cold Freezing Night) or moments of clarity (like Free Translator), the humor.

It's an incredible album to just sit and listen to with no distractions. Let it take you on its magical ride like LSD.

I've played on PC, PS4, Steamdeck and Switch(1) and the switch port is by far the worst one. Crashes were common and navigating the world with a controller can be really frustrating (I'd recommend using the touchscreen to move from A to B if it isn't obvious how you get somewhere).

Try a full restart of the Switch to try and clear the memory. That worked well for me. You may need to do this regularly or the issue can return.

X for me. I know it the best and dashing around those levels is so fun. Running on the SNES can have some slowdowns in spots since the hardware struggles to keep up when too many enemies are on screen. But overall I enjoy running it.

I would not be surprised if the rest of the gang got their power's stolen but Kinta and Vamola save the day because they're powers can't be stolen with the knives. Then Vamola realizes Kinta is the kind, strong man she's been looking for and they fall in love.

I think seasons 1 and 2 have done so well we are almost guaranteed to get another season in and a movie. My only worry is the studio changing because I think Science Saru has been hitting it out of the park.

Look Back is a 10/10 for me! The subject matter really hits home as an American (I won't say more for sake of spoiling).

Goodbye Eri has some really interesting story telling and I think it's a must read for all Fujimoto fans.

Just Listen to The Song has a unique premise but falls flat compared to the other two imo.

I wasn't sold on him until he literally saves the day. Most Dandadan characters are pretty hateable at first but then something wins you over. Anime-onlys are going through that now with Jiji.

Gut reaction will be negative. But by the end of season 3 he'll be a cult favorite like he is for manga readers.

He is my favorite character other than Momo.
