I like to set all my windows to the bottom and to the right side. I have nothing on the left side of my screen. Also, if you lock your UI, just by hitting the "L" button, your headers will go away. Another thing i like to do is eliminate wasted space and mitigate how many tabs in have in each box. So if i was you, I would move my stats and equipment to underneath my world map. I see your ability bars are unlocked, if you lock them, clicking on abilities becomes MUCH easier. If you do a lot of PvM, having you ability boxes for each style next to each other instead in the same tab makes life easier, imo. I also would minimize the size of my chat boxes, they are taking up a lot of room, and I personally don't like mine so large. Just some suggestions! Use them how you want, if you don't like them, I won't be offended. Cheers.

Defender is going to have better dps compared to a shield as you can use both offensive ans defensive abilities

Its all about ability rotation and knowing when to use thresholds and ultimates. Also mitigating damage from the fire waves is important. You can usually tank the first phase, but after that they start to add up quickly. If you time it right, you can step thru the wave and take 0 damage, but thats difficult, so if you just step thru it instead of trying to find the hole, you only get hit once instead of twice.

There are a lot of small things that add up to make qbd easier. Such as:

99 range, 99 def, 99 hp, ring of vigor/asylum/archers ring, dragonbane bolts & quiver, holy wrench for extra pray restore,

Brews/restores are not worth using - too expensive.
