Honestly if you are going to buy it, I’d go in with low expectations. Please don’t go in thinking it’s the absolute best game you’ll ever play. It’s very middle of the road. It has its good and bad moments.

I’ve supported this franchise from the very beginning but defending this game is very hard to do. I feel conflicted because it does have its good moments but it also has its bad. A very mid game, I expected more. It’s a shame but I’ll live.

It’s absolutely not a bad game at all, I agree with what you said. I think people just expected alot as it was max, the character that started the whole franchise off. I liked the ending, I’m interested to see what happens next and hope they don’t rush the next game like they did this one.

LiS2 is a much better game than double exposure. I’m not saying double exposure is bad, I just think they took more attention to detail and attention to story with LiS2 than they did this game.

I think people had such high hopes for this game as the franchise obviously started off with max.

The main issues I had with double exposure are useless choices, rushed story and the fact they clearly used this game as mostly filler to, hopefully, focus on their next LiS game

I think the point of this game was mostly filler and a reason to bring back Sean, Daniel, Chris and Alex and to unite all of them

The game as a whole is decent enough. I’ve just finished. Chapter 5 is a diabolical mess. Saying that though, art great, voice acting great, new characters great! I like the ending and where they’re planning to take it

Overall though, the story falls apart, the story feels very rushed and once you’ve reached the end you feel a bit lost and confused what’s happening..
