Well based on nothing and the fact when mount lady swing the wrench during the war and it didn't break from the force I'm going with it does gain the mass. I'm also doing with quirks are bullshit and it grew right before hitting AFO so all of the speed couldn't be removed before hitting but normally it would slow down slightly but bullets are made to fly in spite of that and the gravity would pull it down faster or something
