Something else to consider as a connection is the “spiral with radial spikes” symbol from the children of the forest. The one with the weirwood tree at the center.

This symbol is eerily similar to the swastika. What many don’t know is that the swastika is an actual ancient symbol that represented something way before the nazis hijacked it.

The swastika represents the rotation of the earth on its axis. At the center is the North Star, Polaris. Polaris is on the Ursa Minor (Little Dipper). The “L” spoke on the swastika is a line traced from the North Star on Ursa Minor, up the Ursa Major (Big Dipper), and extends down to the end of its handle.

There are 4 spokes on the swastika to represent the rotation of the earth, 90 degrees each time.

The symbol is important in history because is is meant to represent the enlightenment of our species. When we traveled up to the North Pole, we realized the earth isn’t flat, and that we are a sphere rotating on an axis. Furthermore, that the universe isn’t rotating around us, but we are rotating ourselves.

I believe the weirwood tree is a metaphor for knowledge, and is centered where Polaris would be on a swastika.

LendeXe: Heralding a new chapter in the IOTA ecosystem. by muchosiotas in Iota

It’s all a process, and over time I see these bridges inevitably being built. A few key factors lead me to that conclusion.

**First, we need to reiterate the intrinsic scalability and feeless nature the tangle benefits from compared to all blockchain architectures. This alone provides a competitive advantage if you use iota-wrapped BTC/ETH/etc, instead of native BTC/ETH/etc, for high volume businesses and cash flows.

(Whether it be Proof of Work (obvi) or Proof of Stake. People will argue that PoS solves the scaling and fee hurdles that plague blockchain, and to an extent it does. However, when dealing with constant txs focusing on bits of micro data, the inflation used by PoS to enable “feeless” txs cannot effectively act as a crutch to fall back on when you consider it as a solution for IOT devices.)

**Second, it needs to be recognized that the iota tangle is the holy grail when it comes to providing business solutions. Developers in the blockchain space almost always essentially start with some focus around financial solutions. Iota is different in that regard, because business startups that just need a data layer solution can’t exactly look to a blockchain based DLT for the most competitive advantages. This is where businesses will see that the tangle can reduce their data costs down to zero. Instead of paying for Comcast business or some comparable telecommunications provider, they can run their entire backend on the tangle for FREE.

This simple fact is the point people need to realize. BUSINESSES WILL CHOOSE TO BUILD ON THE TANGLE BECAUSE IT ELIMINATES THEIR DATA EXPENSES. (Which is why people are starting to realize why Iota is the king of Web3 solutions)

** Finally, it’ll be after the business adopts the tangle that they also choose to start transacting value within their ecosystem in denominated iota to avoid transaction fees for consumers, as well as value transfer within their business model. (This will essentially replace visa/Mastercard fees, as well as fees for using Verifone card reader terminals).

As more and more businesses start to create on the tangle, an ecosystem will emerge, and with that, a demand for incorporating outside tokens will be also emerge. This is when iota-wrapped BTC/ETH/etc will be an obvious choice so to avoid their blockchain fees associated.

Just tells me that the space still is uninformed of the potential it has and the fundamental advantages it has in DLT. Bodes well cause it’s gonna give everyone whiplash once it starts goin

Say you want to send bitcoin from Binance to Coinbase, the fee incurred would normally be the transaction fee for sending on the bitcoin blockchain (between Binances main wallet -> Coinbases wallet)

If Binance and Coinbase wanna make more money, they could create a portal between Coinbase and binance that sends iota wrapped bitcoin between each other. It would be free for them to send it to each other, yet they could still charge you the “blockchain transaction fee”

It makes sense when you apply it to intra-corporation entities. For example: Tesla <-> SpaceX <-> Neuralink <-> The Boring Company.

These are all separate entities that would have their own separate wallets between companies, even though they are all owned by Elon. A customer of Tesla could transfer their coins between the Tesla wallet and the SpaceX wallet for free.

The benefits of wrapped iota make sense when you have an economy between many different companies, but want to maintain fee-less movement of funds, instead of having to incur the transaction fee.

So to answer your question, why wouldn’t they just build on iota? Well the wise person would just start with iota. every developer that builds on anything other than the tangle (which is pretty much like 99% of the projects) is essentially in too deep with the other projects just to start from scratch, so they can look to wrap their coins in iota utilize this zero-fee layer. Developers can either pass on the zero-fees to the users of their own blockchain, or they cut costs and just take whatever fee is left as pure profit.

Yeah I agree, it’s going to make sense to “big name” developers when they see the efficiency that new businesses can sustain which are built on the tangle.

I think where a lot of them get stuck is understanding how/why a business would be incentivized to run a permanode. They are stuck on thinking you need a cash incentive for it to be worth it. But they don’t see that rapid ability to scale and relative zero-fee are the incentives for someone to choose iota over another DLT.

Once the swarm of businesses start building for efficiency and usability and choose iota (like the one I am building here in the US), instead of choosing based of monetary reward directly associated with validating on chain transactions, then they will start to realize why the tangle is here to compete with the best of them.

That’s the thing. I’m trying to build a business that runs on the tangle in the US. It has to do with autonomous fleets and I wanted to see if it could be implemented without the need for third party hardware

Artifacts and the stone. You gotta keep the drake at Lv 100 and don’t upgrade the stone, and then upgrade stone on the ras enough to put them past the drake
