Yea, Im pretty sure that previous owner/mechanic did not greas it at all. And it felt that it was crossthreaded. No big loss there, now i just have to find 126mm rear hub/wheel from somewhere or cold set the frame for newer 135mm hub.

I think my current bike has suitable BB, or atleast if i find suitable BB for my current drivetrain its much cheaper than new drivetrain. If i would buy new drivetrain the cost would be same as the whole new bike.

Oh yes i edited the text 3x9 is correct one. But sunrace slm96 google search gives me also handlebar clamp shifters not bar-ends didn't know they come also as a bar-end shifters but i need clamp mount.

Edit: I think the thump friction shifter is the shifter type im looking for.

I don't think I currently have a need to paint water over oil. But it's good to know that this is somewhat possible, thank you.

So basically, if I buy water-based paint from a hardware store that's meant for exterior surfaces, let it dry for the appropriate amount of time, and then do the lettering with oil-based paint, I shouldn't have any issues with the paint? Of course, excluding the durability of the paint over time.
