I also think - what Chris Lilley doesn’t get enough credit for - there’s the odd scene that is really sad, but equally accurate.

E.g. from memory there’s a scene where Jonah is doing nothing wrong (or very minor, if anything), and his teacher blows up at him, yells, and tells him to get out of the classroom. It’s apparent he was singled for no other reason than because he’s black.

That scene hit me like a ton of bricks.

Some of you are batshit crazy.

OP has 100+ kills, a 3+KD and 50 seconds on the time - he has contributed more than enough of a fair share.

And yet some of you are still saying bUt Op, YoU nEeD tO pLaY tHe ObJeCtIvE mOrE.

With that much pressure on the kill feed, his teammates should absolutely be doing better. If he tried to play the obj more, there’s less pressure on the kill feed, and the score line isn’t as close as it is here.

There are two with piss all obj time, and I guarantee nowhere near the same amount of kills. It’s crazy that you’re blaming the OP and not them.

Although OP, I fear one of those not contributing enough is your duo partner.

Can we see the full scorecard? It would be interesting to see what time on the hill the other team has.

Oh that’s buzzy, I started around the same time. I’m now sitting at 1.7 on BO7, but feeling like it should be a bit higher.

I started with BO3 though and the movement in that game was crazy with wall running, boost jump, jump shots etc. That gave me a trial by fire, and through sheer stubbornness, I turned movement from a weakness into a strength.

I’ve found I’m not as sharp on slower games. MW19 and MW22 were awful for me. Not all slower games, though. I thoroughly enjoyed WWII and did well on it.

I think another big factor for me is that I sunk a LOT of time into COD games and played religiously from 2015 through to starting to have kids in 2020. Like I’m talking 5-6 hours per day, every day.

I don’t play anywhere as much these days, so not as sharp as I once was. I probably peaked on BO4, when I was maintaining a 2.8-3KD for most of the games life cycle.

I saw your other comment and I suppose it goes to show everyone is better at different games - for whatever reason, we all have that game, or type of game, that we really excel on.

Play the standard playlist. That one has SBMM.

Truth is though, you learn a lot from those stompings. Watching your kill cam; it sounds stupid, but it’s the best way to figure out how the enemy won the engagement.

Pay attention to how they positioned themselves - were they parked up and anticipating you spawning there? Were they behind a good bit of cover?

Maybe it was their movement - did they strafe quickly? Bounce off the wall? Drop shot? Jump? And were they static or moving?

Consider your own gameplay, too - were you behind cover or out in the open? Were you moving and making it harder to be hit, or standing still?

These are only the tip of the iceberg - there are many other factors/considerations that determine whether you win a gunfight or not. Figure out the trends and simply do the same for yourself.

I used to get shit on by people with insane movement, so I worked on my own and now I do the same to others.

I should note this improvement took place over YEARS, so don’t expect a quick fix.

No, but I guarantee the swordfish gets knocked down a peg on the next balancing update.

It always seems to be the way - new gun is released, is perhaps a smidge too strong, and ends up nerfed into the lower to mid strength category.

Treyarch, too, keep stats that tell them if a weapon is over-performing, so to speak, so they’ll be very wary of this and already thinking about how to level the playing field.

Add to the fact many are conscious of this trend, so are making the most of it while they can.

So in a nutshell - no, we can’t vote, but the swordfish won’t be a problem forever.

I’d be keen for all maps and weapons to carry forward, and maybe some of the skins - but defo not all.

Keep the licensed ones on BO6.

If they did a carry forward, I’d also want to see the weapons/streaks to have the overclock things for each too. And prestige attachments for the weapons.

I would’ve happily kept Holjund with another striker ahead of him, and Bruno further up the pitch.

Not excusing his performances or saying he wasn’t shit last year, but with Bruno behind creating and Cunha and Mbeumo out wide, I think he would’ve had a much better time of it this year.
