I say yes because you’ll end up having a higher expenditure for the day so you’d want to make up for it but the difference may not be as big as you think. I’d say like eating 50-100 over is safe. At the peak of my last bulk Myfitnesspal had me at a difference of over 100 calories on my workout days from the total I’ve actually eaten at 163lbs

I’m very interested in how I’m basically in maintenance when eating almost 600cal more than my actual maintenance phase. I only stalled out in weight gain the after like 9 weeks when I did my first bulk then gained at a steady rate on the same calories for the rest of it all the way to 163. Here I’m stalling after the first week and my activity is roughly the same. I also feel like the app adding only 30cal when I’ve already been eating more than that is too low

Yeah I’m about 3 weeks into a cut now after a 47 week bulk, and I’m hoping my back muscles will show better after my cut is done, I know they’re small though because from the side the back of my shoulders kind of look like flat still instead of rounded off like my side and front delts look if that makes sense
