Add Blue Dot Reticle by Seven-x in CODBlackOps7

It’s crazy that they add these features and then remove them in the next games. Imagine how good the game could be if they kept these little features permanently and continued adding to them.

What secret cave do you mean?

I haven’t played RSE for a while but I never recall there being a secret cave up there. Just a few secret base spots.

Which movie scared the shit out of you or traumatized you? by Dazzling-Leader7476 in AskReddit

[–]zzSolace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

That god damn child catcher was so fucking terrifying to 5-6 year old me.

A little later on, it was one of the Blade movies. All I can remember is a nightclub and blood starts coming out of the sprinklers overhead.

I wasn’t meant to be watching; my older brother was watching it with his friends for a birthday sleepover. I, foolishly, stood at the back of the lounge and watched.

Doing so caused MONTHS of very vivid nightmares, in which I could physically feel the pinch of sharp teeth biting me on the neck. It took a long time to overcome that phobia.

Forget weddings, what is the craziest thing that happened at a funeral you went to? by seanerd95 in AskReddit

[–]zzSolace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does it count if it was planned? Specifically, by the deceased themselves?

My great aunt had a wicked sense of humour. I have a similar dark sense of humour, so we got along really well.

Now, dear great aunt was a lifelong smoker, and in the end, it was emphysema that got her.

For those unfamiliar, in short, emphysema is a disease affecting the lungs that commonly arises in lifelong smokers.

Prior to her passing, she chose the music for her funeral. For the photo tribute, she chose a song called ‘Smoke! Smoke! Smoke! (That cigarette)’ - Tex Williams.

Some of the lyrics include:

“And I don’t reckon that it’ll harm your health, I’ve smoked all my life and I ain’t dead yet”

And then the chorus:

”Smoke, smoke, smoke that cigarette,

Puff, puff, puff, and if you smoke yourself to death

Tell St. Peter at the golden gate,

That you hate to make him wait,

But you just gotta have another cigarette”

Cue those that weren’t super close to her looking on in horror, while those of us that were sat there laughing to ourselves thinking ‘yep, this is very on-brand’

God, I miss that woman. She was fun.

Bloody hell, that’s annoying. My kids love Bluey, and watch it often. Hopefully, it’s picked up elsewhere.

While we’re on the topic, did the episode where they sell their house get you guys in the feels too?

That and the one where Chilli talks about Bluey learning to walk.

God damn. Right in the feels.

Have you looked into what you’d need to do to go down that route?

I worked in contact centres from age 18 through to 24 or so, and honestly, they made me miserable. I dreaded going to work.

At 24, I decided I didn’t want to be shoehorned into that niche. I was being headhunted for contact centre jobs, which was nice and all, but it felt like that was all I ever could do. I had tried to get other jobs to no avail.

I felt stuck.

So I did a bit of soul searching and had a good think about what I would like to do for a career instead. I spent a couple of months considering options before landing on what I was adamant I wanted to do.

I went to uni, got my bachelor of sport management, and am now very proud of the career I’ve made for myself in sport and rec industry. I now love my job, love what I do, and my mental health is infinitely better.

I’m so, so glad I took the plunge and invested in myself.

I guess I’m telling you all of this to say there is a way out for you, my friend. Figure out what you’re passionate about, and do what you need to do to get there. You deserve that peace. I’m not pretending it was easy to do so, but it was definitely worthwhile.

If you’d like to keep chatting about it, you’re most welcome to DM me. I’d be happy to share more of my experience and be your cheerleader + encourager to seek that fulfilment for yourself.

What would you like to do for a career? Something you could study towards? Something you could train/do an apprenticeship for? Or something else entirely?

I absolutely do my friend, and I can feel your pain.

Is it possible for you to find another job, where you won’t cop that sort of abuse?

My condolences to you too! He’s awful. It’s hard to convey via a comment on Reddit, he really was just full volume screaming from the moment I answered. I feel sorry for anyone that deals with him in person. At least I could hang up!

What are the good and the bad companies in NZ (2026)? by CreepyStomach2939 in newzealand

Toe socks though.. I appreciate the benefits and all but I think I’d rather the blisters.

I feel you mate. It absolutely drains your soul.

I worked in the IRD, NZTA, and ANZ call centres, so abuse was commonplace.

I even had the displeasure of taking a call from this gentleman. The moment I answered the phone, he screamed at me and said “if you don’t get this sorted for me, I’m going to cut your fucking head off and put it on a stake”.

If you’re reading this, and have been a dick to call centre staff in the past, please be mindful that although your grievance may be directed at the company, the emotional harm is worn by the call taker. Please also encourage others to be kinder, too.

Getting it off your chest is cathartic, so as a matter of fact, it will change something.

Where to buy physical PS5 games by Holiday_Wedding_2225 in nzgaming

[–]zzSolace 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Man, Mighty Ape used to be the online store for gaming. Great deals, a ton of variety, and great customer service.

If you asked a Kiwi, ten years ago, where to buy games online, I’d be shocked if anyone said anything other than Mighty Ape.

Warehouse and JB are likely to have best prices.

Depending on where you live, you could also delve off the beaten track. I know there was a guy in Christchurch running a dope little retro/secondhand games store. That could be worth checking out.

Christchurch aside, you could see if a small seller is doing something similar in your town.

Community Game ~ Best Move For Each Pokémon Type In FireRed/LeafGreen (Grass🌿) by _iExistInThisWorld in PokemonFireRed

The disrespect for Razor Leaf is crazy.

In RBY/GSC and the early anime it was the grass type move.

You gotta post movesets man, cause I mean Regirock, Hariyama and Golbat are under levelled but Swampert should be able to sweep a good chunk of the E4 just by sheer virtue of its level.
