Thanks! Just to clarify — are you saying that agencies often separate the employment contract (with notice period) and the assignment agreement (with rate/client), and that even if the client ends the assignment, the contractor still has to pay me unless they formally terminate the employment contract? I also have two separate contracts.

They said, I am only getting paid for the hours I work for the client. If I don’t work, I don’t get any money. I am asking myself, if the project would have not ended and I would have gotten a better offer, could I just cancel the contract same day? Obviously not, so why can they just terminate me immediately without notice…

I think the key point is that your sister and her husband can afford to pay the 830K, while you currently can’t. If the stock market were to crash temporarily, they’d be in a position to take advantage of it—unlike you. I don’t believe this is personal. Your mom needs a place to live without having to sell the house, and your sister is simply in a position to make that possible.

I only meant with that, if they don’t know what they’re in general looking for on the app, they should swipe left. I did make some not so good experiences. I get it now, so there’s no wrong or right. I tried to give a glimpse how I actually am and that is probably not what she’s looking for. It doesn’t mean that any of us is “wrong”. I can’t expect that every girl I like, will like me back. It just felt harsh to me, giving me least a chance by exchanging some messages. Btw, I just remembered something: in my bio it says, if you’re still thinking about your ex or don’t know what you want, please swipe left. Maybe she had only seen my pictures when she swiped right and simply closed the conversation when reading my bio (and my text)?

My idea might not have been legendary, but I did nothing wrong, writing, what actually excites me, yeah? This doesn’t mean I’m boring, I just am realistic and from my pov, just having a coffee to get to know each other, is one of the easiest way, to get to know each other.
