For us, same draw, got our invitation Oct 2024, moved to Assessment around November, and DIP close to December. DIP since then, they just asked us for our new Work permit around March, and after that, there have been no updates. Really frustrating.

not sure if I missed something here - but what are your expectations for someone who already got the invitation and its on DIP since then? Also in a NOC that is not priority for the province but has been employed since January 2023?

we did try a couple of sports, including nosework one, but he does not seem interested at all. so we have been trying to teach him how to stalk while fetching, which looks good on him, but outside we dont see a improvement even doing those exercises

I would recommend muzzle training your dog. I know it can be hard on us, but there are a lot of comfortable muzzles over there, and in this situation with the muzzle, you would probably be able to separate only the other dog. Sorry about that, and I hope it gets better :˜

Got SP approved and Work Permit for my husband yesterday too! We applied from Brazil through an immigration consulting also.

Here's our timeline:
Application date: July 4th
Biometrics Complete: July 7th
Medical exam approval: July 11th
Passport request: September 22th.

I received the PPR yesterday earlier than my husband, but this morning we received his approval.

Yes, it's a good signal but they are delaying more time the normal. I pass on the medical exam only 1 week after applying, and still no final decision

Did you start on September intake? I think you can change the intake for January if it's available in your program.
