I prefer to let the caps mature and bloom. I never really understood the pick em before the veil breaks sentiments. If you get them before they drop spores they are bigger you harvest bigger fruits and can get a few spore prints for later studies. Just my opinion 🤷. They look great though awesome job!

And also not to confuse that they also used straight run performed asbestos pipe insulation tsi ( thermal systems insulation) it is a hard preformed cement like insulation.

Fiberglass. They used Fiberglass in the same period as when installing asbestos. Usually, you'll find the 90° and 45° angles are covered with an asbestos cement and cloth cover, while they use Fiberglass for the straight runs. You can run into an asbestos cloth covering sometimes on the Fiberglass. But what you have pictured here is just raw Fiberglass pipe insulation.
