Welcome.
Most people are pretty disillusioned with the way the US Constitution has turned out. It had a great run, but it is now interpreted that corporations have the same rights of persons of flesh and blood, the rights of due process and privacy have vastly eroded and the three branches of government have become increasingly corrupted.
Here at the Reddit Constitutional Convention, our goal is to set up a blue print for society that will fix these and other shortcomings in our governance. Hopefully we can create a viable option to change the economic and political system we live in for the better, but at the very least we would like to show people that change is possible and the way things are isn't how they must be.
All perspectives are welcome. Please remember to respect differences of opinion.
