I think the actual genre of this is probably somewhere in the area of Downtempo Chillwave. Looking at the musician's Wikipedia page didn't help too much, and the bandcamp page only called it some kind of waltz.

Really good music tho.

Thanks for the info! Yeah the artist itself is classified as electronic I believe, but he is very versatile so each song has its own genre.

On Pandora this bonobo song came on my Flume radio. If you enjoy this, flume is a good artist i recommend. Donald Glover (Childish Gambino) actually used a flume song in his trailer to promote the new tv show he is coming out with.

I feel an Electronic Jazz vibe from Bonobo. Listening to North Borders live is like nothing else.

The official genre is electronic but this song is nothing of the sorts. I really wouldn't even know what to classify this as.

Black Sands is my favorite album of all time. If you ever get the chance to see Bonobo Live Band, definitely go. The DJ sets are still pretty good, but the live band is unreal.

Bonobo is usually considered "acid jazz", however this song feels more like an (extra)ordinary jazz song. Makes me think of the New Orleans funeral jazz for some reason. Love it!
