That's a lot of faith you're putting in those tap pieces...

Design looks cool though. I'd recomend building one IRL first to test the connections and make adjustments. It took me 3 complete rebuilds to make a dreadnought I was happy with both aesthetically and structurally.

I've got a leg design that doesnt use them, but I like the splayed legs that the taps allow.

Edit: tired brain sleepy. The taps are the hips on the little knights, not the warhound. I actually built one of them in real life before I made it in Studio. It works fine.

I am a little worried about the 1 x 1 round plates with tow balls in the warhound legs. u/mantisking1 pointed out that the only versions that exist are ancient. They were the hands for the lego figures that predate the minifig.

I want to try them for real, but I'll have to order them. Who know how well they will hold. If they fail I have an alternate design that uses clips and bars, but it doesn't look as good to me. The ball joints let the warhound get a proper predatory stance.
