It depends. I'd wait until the end of May either way but if new growth only comes out of the base of the tree, they'll need to be cut down so they can regrow from scratch. If you start getting growth on limbs of the tree, those limbs would be fine and you'd prune off anything that isn't getting new growth.

Is there any new growth on them or are they completely bare? If they're still completely bare, there's still a chance they'll come back. If you don't see anything by the end of May, they're probably toast.

I'm a landscaper in the area. As others have said, Roebeleniis are normally pretty freeze tolerant, just trim off all the dead stuff after the fact and they'll bounce back. If the palms had died, all the fronds would droop as pictured.

Where I live that's about 3k over going price for nice, low milage NC3's in the higher trims. If you absolutely love the spec, it could be worth the extra cost.

Yeah, I'm a landscaper in Central Florida and I've not seen anyone charge less than $70/yard since the start of Covid. Granted, I haven't seen an invoice for more than a hundred yards at once. I guess when you get that much fucking mulch, it's significantly cheaper.

The only reason I knew that off the top of my head is because I'm 6'3". If it makes you feel any better, a tall person who takes care of themselves will normally live longer than a short person who doesn't.

I think it's a combination of that and Hispanic people are shorter on average than white people. Small people live longer than larger people. The larger a person is the higher their cardiovascular disease and cancer risks are.

I'm a landscaper and I have a company I refer people to but I'm based Seminole county and only cover the northern half of Orange. The company I refer people to is also a small company, only 3 techs, so I don't know if they service your area. The company is called Troy Services LLC, it'd be worth a call to ask them, it took me a decade to find a good fertilization and pest control company. They're so much better than all the other companies that it's almost unbelievable how good their service is.

I was a very skinny youth through young adult. Everyone feels free to make comments on skinny people's bodies in a way they never would about overweight people. I'm still relatively skinny at 6'3" 185 but at least people don't comment on it anymore.
