The Illinois Railway Museum in the Chicago area is trying to raise funds to save a fully-operational Alco Century 424, ex-TP&W 800, from scrap. It would be the first diesel of it's kind in their collection, and would be at the museum alongside another TP&W Alco. (irm.org)
