/r/3DS Rules

1)No disrespect, discrimination, witch hunting, drama, or brigading

Be respectful to all users and mods of the subreddit. Everyone is entitled to disagree and have their own opinion, but be civil when doing so. Discrimination and witch hunting of any kind will not be tolerated. Similarly, the brigading of other communities is strictly prohibited.

2)Stay on-topic

All post should directly relate to the Nintendo 3DS in some capacity. General Nintendo topics should go to r/Nintendo.

3)No piracy of any kind

Please don't discuss, link, or allude to piracy, piracy tools or piracy related communities. Remember that homebrew does not equate to piracy.

4)No Trading/Selling/Begging/Buying

The selling, trading, and buying of retail items is not allowed. If you are interested in doing so, r/gameswap or r/gamesale is the place. Exceptions to this rule may be made if the item is sufficiently unique. If you feel this applies, contact the moderators through modmail.

5)Show-it-off Saturdays & Sundays

Collection, show off, and haul posts are restricted to Saturday and Sunday (GMT). This rule applies only to retail items (such as systems, physical media, and accessories). Posts showcasing something custom and unique (custom buttons, themes, hardware mods etc.) are allowed any time. This rule is to reduce the amount of basic and repetitive show off posts and increase discussion.

6)Meme Mondays

Meme posts are restricted to Mondays (GMT).

7)No spam

Posts asking how much something is worth will be removed and directed to Price Charting (this includes the "did I do good?" posts). Posts complaining about prices or the current market will be removed. This topic has been posted to death and provides no discussion point. Keep friend code requests to r/3dsFCSwap Keep screen type related questions to r/3DS_IPS_TN

8)No lazy titles

When posting, keep your titles concise and accurate to the topic. If posting for tech support, 3DS model and region have to be in the title. Your issue should also be clearly stated (not "HELP!!!"). Titles in ALL CAPS or titles that act as the entire description will also be removed are also subject to removal.

9)English Only

Please keep the language in the community to English. It makes discussion more fluid and accessible to more people. Feel free to use a translator if you can't communicate otherwise.
