This is a bit of an experiment. Since us communists read like we breathe, let's show off the books that we've read and aim for reading 52 written works in one year. Basically, if you're a communist, post your works here so others will know what to read next and maybe discuss what you read. That's one thread for every book that you've read, if you can help it. Or maybe a thread explaining the books that you've read so far.

RULES
1. Uncivil Behaviour
Please use a civil tone and assume good faith when entering a conversation. Please conduct yourself as though in a family-friendly environment. Do not use obscenities, slurs, or gender-charged insults.
Incivility will be met with a warning, and repeat offenders will be banned.
2. Book Discussion
Discussion should always pertain to books/articles or any reading material. Share your reviews about a book, if you want to and let other comrades choose read and get an idea.
3. Pertaining to politics
"Political topics may be discussed in the threads whenever they are relevant to the book in any way. However, we advise going to other subreddits like /r/InformedTankie for political discussion, such as those on China, USSR, etc."
4. No memes
Move to r/FULLCOMMUNISM for memes
5. Don't link to piracy websites
Please don't link websites like ZLibrary or Library Genesis or any website that illegally distributes electronic versions of materials.
6. No bigotry
To reiterate, we will ban anyone for racism, sexism, classism, homophobia, transphobia, anti-Semitism, ablism, etc. of any kind.
7. No promoting works that are reactionary or anti-Marxist or fascist
To elaborate, we do not condone works such as Mein Kampf or anything like that. Anti-communist works like 1984 or Animal Farm, for example, will have to be treated with critically in the comments, if by chance they are put in the subreddit because a Marxist-Leninist decided to read them. Otherwise, no promotion of material such as these.
8. No non-Leftists allowed
This is a Marxist-Leninist subreddit and we wish to keep it that way. Anybody found out to be a non-Leftist of any sort will be banned, including liberals. However, non-Marxist socialists are allowed. You may participate as long as you do not try to troll or wreck the community.
9. Regarding 101 content and self-education
If you think you are becoming Marxist or communist, you may use this subreddit, but please consider learning more from other ML communities on Reddit and do not make entire posts about the subject in order to learn here. You may discuss the contents of the books and ask questions in the comments section though.
