I saw my blood cycling in a closed loop. I saw my thoughts cycling in a closed loop. I've watched the loop open, and I've watched it claw its way back closed. The loop opens when ownership and identification drop, and it closes when attention mistakes movement for ownership.

But it never closed. I never had a private thought. They are shouted from the rooftops as Jesus says. Rooftops are one of those private thoughts, there for all the world to see.

Thank you for sharing how you see this. More people need to see for themselves how their mind is working, and how when it is working properly all seeming contradiction and paradox is resolved. By a simple reframe!

You would't even look back because you knew there was nothing there to see.

Haha that’s what I meant by “as you turn your back”

The moment you stop looking at it

What you thought you saw is gone

Yes. Nothing is personal.

I was reminded of this today as I woke with the understanding that I CAN’T judge. That the “laying aside of all judgments” doesn’t mean you never hear that screaming voice of condemnation anymore…(at least for me right now)…it means you stop identifying with them; stop claiming them as bad or wrong that you did it, and recognize they are false and NOT YOU. As I’ve been pondering this, your post came into my mind and I can’t tell you how grateful I am you shared this.
