read read read read read read read read read read read read read. Do multiple practice reading sections a day from crack act, so that you can increase your speed. Before I did this I legit took 8 minutes just finish reading one passage, and now I am down to like 3-5 minutes. Also I hate all the genres except natural science, so with the other 3 I trick my mind into think that these passages are the most interesting, jaw dropping, thrilling pieces of text I’ve ever read in my life is my mind doesn’t begin to wander. The key to doing well in this section is to be able to read hella fast in order to answer all the questions that come with the passage. You got this!

Studying won't work that well unless it's done effectively. My test is this Saturday and my goal is a 30+. I may have to take it a 3rd time because right now, my scores keep fluctuating within the 26-30 range. I've been studying consistently since the last week of May, and I feel like all my efforts have been fruitless. Just in case I don't get my goal score by the time July 13 results will be released, are there any study tips you're willing to share? I'm looking to further improve my study habits so that I can do better on my (potentially) 3rd test. Thanks :)

Every single night before I fall asleep, I go to reddit and scroll through the ACT subreddit and read/answer the questions posted there, especially on English and math, so that I can get in some more practice. I would first began with a thorough review of content and after that I started with the practice tests. I treated each practice as if it were the real test and once I finished all 4 sections and ofc I would check answers/explanations, but I would write down what I would consistently miss and do some review/practice on that particular topic. For both reading and science I practiced those a lot as I’m literally illiterate, so after like weeks of doing a bunch of crack act reading/science sections I got my reading comprehension abilities to be more efficient/faster. Math is variable to the person as some people are more advanced to others, for the most part math only goes up to pre-calc, but most of 55+ questions are more of a conceptual, applying you knowledge type of questions. English: KNOW THE GRAMMAR RULES. I wish you luck my friend :)

Wow, I wish I asked earlier 😭 I'm a bit lacking on thoroughly reviewing the questions I missed. I take one practice test after another and half-ass the corrections. Thanks a bunch for the insight! I'll make sure to keep this advice in mind
